Welcome to your next Fano Quest!

Fano Quest Cards provide the game master (GM) or solo-RPGer a tool for creating characters, plotting out story threads and quests, and consulting an oracle for encounters and conflicts.

These cards attempt to be systems agnostic whether you are playing DnD or your own creation. It follows the math of the Fano plane in connecting each card to one another through its Fano-7 and Fano-13 values.

Whether you need to create a character’s backstory in 5 minutes or want to sit down and journal your next epic adventure, these 54 cards are here for you! All that is required is your curiosity and imagination.

NOTE: I will be updating this page with videos on how to's and different layouts I have used in my own solo-RPG gaming. For now, please download the guide to get a basic understanding and print-and-play with the cards.

Who is this for?

This tool is for anybody who wants to start or add to their own adventures, campaigns, or worldbuilding. It is a tool for those who seek creativity, curiosity, and imagination and can be specifically useful for GMs or the solo-RPGer.

Although I give you some guidelines on how the Fano Quest Cards function, there are no rules on how you choose to use them for you are the one creating these fantastical stories and quests. Therefore, you hold onto yourself a responsibility to explore those stories untold.

What if I don’t agree with how you use them or don’t want to use them the way you have it set up?

Your adventure is your own! Use them however you deem fit and if you don’t like it, at least you have a unique Poker Deck with you!

My journey and attributions:

I have always been fascinated by the stories we tell and have been inspired by such works as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Witcher, and Dark Souls. I have recently dabbled in solo-RPG to explore and create my own stories. As I believe that many things in life are connected, it led me to the Fano plane where I created these cards.
